Carol's Pie Crust

Mix with a fork:
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp. salt

Cut in 1 1/2 C shortening with fork until all of the flour is most (like putty).

Combine:
1tsp. Karo syrup
3/4 C warm water

Add liquid to four mixture and mix well.

Add 1/2 C flour (total of 3 C flour) and let layer.

Bake 10-15 minutes at 400° to 425°
Makes 4 single crusts.
